Meet the Team at Beaumont Wellness Centre
Dr. Caylee Kosolofski, D.C.
Dr. Caylee’s education began at the University of Alberta before she graduated from the University of Western States in 2018.
She primarily practices diversified technique, though Dr. Caylee is happy to tailor her treatments to your comfort level, which can include Activator or instrument-assisted work instead of hands-on manipulations.
A given treatment with Dr. Caylee not only includes joint work but also soft tissue therapy and rehabilitation. She offers Graston Technique, Myofascial cupping, and other adjunct treatment options such as Spinal Decompression.
To better serve her pregnant patients, she became Webster Certified, which is a technique specific to safely supporting mama’s throughout all stages of pregnancy. This technique aims to best prepare mom for delivery by addressing the joints, muscles, and ligaments of the pelvis with the goal of a more comfortable, safer, and easier birth.
When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Caylee outside running, golfing, skiing, or chasing her fur baby at the off-leash park. Chiropractic care has been integral in allowing her to do the things that she loves, and she wants the same for you! Dr. Caylee will give you the tools you need to meet your goals and would love to be part of you and your family’s journey to a happy and healthier lifestyle.
Dr. Laurie Taskinen, D.C.
Dr. Laurie started her postsecondary education at University of Alberta Augustana, where she played soccer for 3 years. In her last year at the U of A, she decided she wanted experience in the rehabilitation field and became a trainer for the minor midget AAA hockey team in Camrose.
She then went on to the University of Western States in Portland, where she graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Although Dr. Laurie provides chiropractic care to a wide variety of patients, she particularly loves caring for little ones, mothers to be, and new mamas.
In her spare time, she enjoys going on hikes or spending time at the dog park with her Bernese Mountain dog, Hudson.
Dr. Dustin Johnston, D.C.
Dr. Dustin grew up in Edmonton where he played hockey for 12 years for the Knights of Columbus Organization. As someone who received treatment from various health practitioners for multiple sports-related injuries, he knew for a long time that he wanted to work in health care.
He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in biology, and later received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer West College in San Jose, California.
Dr. Dustin returned to Edmonton after graduation and now continues his practice at Refresh Health and Wellness. His treatments focus on soft tissue work, adjustments, spinal decompression, home exercises, and stretches.
Rutu Desai – Physiotherapist
Rutu has experience treating patients with different conditions related to musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiology, pelvic health-related conditions, and pediatrics. She assesses, diagnoses, and treats a broad range of conditions that can affect your joints, soft tissue, and nerves. She also has specific experience in treating patients with whiplash and sports-related injuries.
Her treatment focuses on adding recovery through therapeutic exercises, stretching, deep tissue release, education, and hands-on therapy such as mobilization. She is also familiar with other modalities, including US, TENS, and shockwave therapy.
Rutu is also certified in dry needling/IMS, which offers pain relief for lower back pain, neck pain, tennis elbow, migraines, spinal and joint dysfunction, sciatica, TMJ problems, and many more conditions. It also increases speed of recovery.
She is working on becoming certified to treat patients with concussions.
Khurshidahmed Patel – Physiotherapist
Khurshid graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. Khurshid brings over a decade of experience working with different age groups and problems!
If he had to specify one specialty, it’d be sports injuries. He’s a huge football (soccer) fan. His favorite team is Manchester United. In fact, he loves the team so much that he followed them all the way to England to complete schooling in Exercise and Sports Science in Manchester at Manchester Metropolitan University.
His love for sports is probably what led him to specialize in sports injury physiotherapy. He works with injury cases from both indoor and outdoor sports, mostly in volleyball, basketball, baseball, rugby, hockey, soccer, and football (the Canadian kind). Given how much Beaumont loves sports, he has many amateur to pro-level athletes (Yes, CFL too) who have seen him for treatment.
He also worked alongside podiatrists for a few years, gaining vast knowledge regarding foot and ankle issues, especially many hard-working Albertans who are in the oil patch and construction wearing steel-toed footwear full-time.
Lately, he’s been working with whiplash cases, often a result of motor vehicle accidents (MVA). He also works with neck pain, low back pain, and issues arising from nerve or disc-related pathology using Spinal Decompression. Additionally, not to forget his keen interest in working on posture and issues arising from bad postural habits that are very common amongst office and desk workers, especially after COVID-19.
He has over seven years of experience working with Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), which is in huge demand among patients looking for quick pain relief and movement improvement.
Khurshid believes in tailoring physiotherapy programs for each individual. He combines his knowledge of exercise science with the latest equipment and hands-on skills to achieve the best outcome for his clients.

Duncan Welton – Registered Massage Therapist
My name is Duncan Welton. I graduated from Alberta College of Massage Therapy in January 2018. Since graduation, I have worked in a Beaumont chiropractic walk-in clinic along with running my own clinic for nurses from the hospital in Ponoka (extremely busy).
I pride myself on being as dedicated to my clients as possible. Health, recovery, pain reduction, mobility, and maintenance. I have a lifetime of experience in athletics. Three different sports flirted with professional careers. With 20 years in the golf industry, I have thorough knowledge of the golf swing and the muscles that cause pain and restriction of movement/flexibility.
I have been a solo parent for 11 years and through all his hard work, he is a 5-time Honor Roll student with goals of a lengthy university education. Considered a 1%er, his computer skills have led his age group and beyond. When he was 9 and I had to say he was 12 to get into the robotics class for 12+ at the Edmonton Science Center, by day 2, the instructor had my son helping the other students. Elliot also has had a shoe business and a YouTube channel on cooking (still growing). It’s nice to come home to a gourmet meal most every night. I look forward to becoming your Massage Therapist and helping with each and everyone’s quality of life.
